6th September 2009: Angosto Fair (Álava)

On the 6th of September the traditional Angosto summer fair will be celebrated in and around the field adjacent to Angosto Monastery.

The fair is a meeting point for the people of Valdeogovía who come together to enjoy sports, livestock and agricultural machinery exhibitions.

This time, in addition to religious acts and masses, we have a range of gastronomic activities which include recipe tasting, and the opportunity to buy local agricultural and artisan products. It is predicted that 60 artisans will attend the fair. This time visitors will be encouraged to do horse riding and other outdoor sports.

As always, the Angosto fair is a great excuse for visiting Valdegovía and spending an enjoyable day there. Visitors coming from far away have the opportunity of staying and eating in one of the restaurants in the area, from Bóveda to Espejo, Osma and Sobrón.
