Gesaltza Etxea is a cottage that is found in exceptional area around Salado valley, inbetween the urban area of Salinas de Añana, 29 km from Vitoria. Recently constructed (2007), it is ready for rent and fully equipped and can accommodate 8-12 people.

The main characteristics of the house are:

• Exterior : Garden, barbeque, porch
• Interior: House with 2 floors
• Ground Floor: Living/ Dining room with a fireplace, TV/DVD, kitchen, oven, dishwater, microwave, sofa bed, bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed with the possibility of an extra bed with a TV, ideal for the disabled.
• First Floor: 3 double bedrooms, one with an additional bed. Bathroom with washing machine.
• Garage
• Local pools

Gesaltza Etxea is found in Salinas de Añana, which inevitably has a history associated with salt. Its springs appear to be documented in 800, before the Arabian occupation. But it’s in the middle ages (1140), when the production and commercialisation of salt makes it one of the most prosperous cities in the northern peninsular.

From Salinas you can plan many excursions and visits to the closest areas or to Vitoria or Bilbao. One of the characteristics of the town is its central location; near to some of the main areas in the region.
