Find out the effects of tobacco on your lungs: Villanueva, 1st February

All smokers who live in the Valdegovía valley and want to know as to what extent they are damaging their lungs will have the opportunity to find out on the 1st February, in the Villanueva health care centre, throughout the morning from 10am till 1pm.



Helathcare professionals have organised an open hour’s programme for all those who live in the valley who are smokers and don´t belong to a healthcare centre and are interested in knowing just how old their lungs are and to what extent they are addicted to the nicotein.



All smokers who come will do an addiction test to determine their grade of nicotine dependence. A Co-oximeter will be used to detect the loss of oxygen and to see how old the lungs are.



In this way, in just a few minutes everyone will recieve personal health care advice according to the results.
