Valdegovía becomes a fairytale setting for the new Disney movie!

Our municipality has been chosen to film a major part of the live-action version of Rapunzel (Tangled).

The magical environment of San Martín de Valparaíso, with its beautiful forests and valleys, has captivated the producers.

Filming will focus specifically on the rocky area of La Campa, a location highly valued by rock climbers.
For this reason, access to this site will remain closed and signposted, likely until the month of September.

Our spectacular natural surroundings will allow them to recreate the film's universe while minimizing digital effects.
The movie will be directed by Michael Gracey and feature international stars like Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim.

This major project is already making a positive local impact thanks to early bookings at nearby accommodations.
We appreciate the understanding of residents, visitors, and athletes regarding the temporary access restrictions at La Campa.
