Local Producers’ Market in Villanueva de Valdegovía – Sunday, Abril 5 2026

On April 5, 2026, our valley will host a new edition of the traditional April Market. An unmissable event to support local producers, enjoy the best gastronomy, and participate in creative activities.

Spring is here, and with it returns one of the most anticipated events for locals and visitors alike: our April Market. Next Sunday, April 5, 2026, Valdegovía will be filled with life, flavor, and creativity with a new Producers' Fair designed to help you enjoy the best of our surroundings.

As is customary in the fairs we promote in the valley, the goal is to highlight the work of our artisans and farmers, encouraging responsible and zero-kilometer consumption in an unbeatable festive atmosphere.

What will you find at the April Market?

For this edition, we have prepared a program that combines the tradition of our fairs with the best festive atmosphere:

• Local food and crafts: The fair's stalls will offer a carefully curated selection of local products. It will be the perfect opportunity to fill your pantry with fresh food, cured meats, cheeses, honey, and vegetables straight from the hands of those who produce them. In addition, we will feature a display of local crafts, showcasing unique pieces made with care in our area.

• Pintxopote: What would a market be without a good time to share? Throughout the morning, we will be able to enjoy a tasty pintxopote (the local tradition of pairing a drink with a small snack). It is the perfect excuse to chat with neighbors, take a break from shopping, and taste the local gastronomy in the best of atmospheres.

• Free workshop: "Drawing with wool. Introduction to wet felting workshop": In this edition, we want to bring out the creative side of our attendees. We will have a free, hands-on workshop where we will learn the wet felting technique. It is an ideal activity for experimenting with textures and colors, perfect for both curious minds and those who want to get started in the world of textile crafts.
