Añana: Discover an Autumn Full of Unique Experiences - November 2025

Añana (District of Añana) is preparing to welcome visitors with an autumn program packed with history, nature, culture, and gastronomy. Under the slogan "Udazkena 2025 Otoño" (Autumn 2025), this destination invites you to discover its charms and immerse yourself in memorable experiences during the season.

The program, which spans the weekends of November, offers a variety of activities designed for all tastes:

Friday, November 29:

• 12:30 | Bazén berria dorrean (The New Bazén Tower). An experience to unravel the secrets of the Varona-Dorreta family, visiting their tower and exploring their legacy.

• 13:30 | Bisita eta dastaketa Gatz Haranean (Visit and tasting in the Salt Valley). A tour of the Añana salt flats, with a tasting of products related to salt and its history.

• 14:00 | Goiztiarren mundu gozoa (The Sweet World of Early Risers/Goiztiar). An immersion into the culture of honey and its derived products.

Saturday, November 29:

• 12:30 | Érase una vez en la torre (Once Upon a Time in the Tower). Step into the fascinating Varona Tower Palace, a place full of history and charm that transforms into a very special activity setting. Ideal for enjoying with family and discovering the secrets of this corner of Álava.

• 13:30 | Visita y cata en el Valle Salado (Visit and Tasting in the Salt Valley). Discover the fascinating Salt Valley of Añana, one of the most spectacular inland salt flats in the world. Conclude the visit with a tasting of brines and other local products.

• 14:00 | El dulce mundo de la miel (The Sweet World of Honey). Explore the La Atalaya Honey Interpretation Center, a space dedicated to beekeeping and the culture of honey, with a tasting of different types of honey.

Sunday, November 30:

• 11:30 | Visita teatralizada al Jardín de las Mariposas (Theatrical Visit to the Butterfly Garden). At the Santa Catalina Botanical Garden, Trepuenta, you can enjoy a theatrical visit for the whole family, with entertaining characters who will guide you through this beautiful natural space.

• 12:30 | Visita al arte de las conservas (Visit to the Art of Preserves). Discover the world of preserves with Zubialde, Kuartango, with a tasting of their ecological and healthy products.

• 13:00 | Mediodías bajo la bóveda (Noons under the Vault). A unique cultural experience is offered in the 15th-century Estavillo fortress-church, under its imposing vault.
