This country house is located in the town of Valluerca, a unique place in the Valdegovía valley (Álava), and set apart from urban life with the most nurturing of natural environments. It is an old, large house, its walls standing since 1856, they have been restored based on the respect for the environment and it is rented entirely by large groups of up to 20 people. Its large capacity is exactly what makes the difference at Siete Huertas, as it has been christened.

The housing has three floors: the first floor is adapted for people with reduced mobility and includes a triple bedroom – a double and a single bed – with an ensuite bathroom. The living room is also on this level, as is an open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining room, recreating the feeling of a txoco (in Basque culture this is a place where friends cook, eat and catch up with each other). The open kitchen is for the family to enjoy preparing good food together.

On the other two floors there are six bedrooms, four of which have ensuite bathrooms and two with a shared bathroom. Two of its luxuries are the swimming pool in the garden, heated and with a wooden structure: and its porch, where there is an area to relax and an industrial barbeque for dinners in the fresh air.

To highlight its interior design: historic wooden beams in the roof and walls in muted tones together with the stone walls make up the perfect setting for a collection of few but well-chosen furniture, with charming rustic pieces, as well as decorative and artistic details that add touches of colour.
